A 22-year old man from Sayreville has been arrested and charged with beating two men at Fantasie's Bar on Route 36 in Keyport with a baseball bat.

Keyport and Hazlet Police were called to the go-go bar around 2:06 a.m. Monday for reports of a serious assault. When they arrived, the suspect had fled the scene. The two victims were transported to Bayshore Community Hospital with head injuries.

They caught up with the suspect, Blendar Guze, in the parking lot of Toys R Us in Hazlet. He was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold. He is being held on $20,000 bail.
